coZ I'm So Glamorous!

I've always loved glossy and glam shoots...the bigger the hair the better...i also generally believe less is more however sometimes, its all the extra elements that work on a look..the bling accessories, the fur, the shiny and printed fabrics, the high heels and dark lips....i love these 2 very different , yet very glam-esque looks, one is a 50's pin-up inspired shoot, the era of pretty and perfection . While the other look is more 80's inspired, over the top, sensous and glitzy with all the elments that make it so. While the 'retro' look is back, i like this mix and match of pieces, because it doesn't look dated but very chic and today!

CAMEL fever

Its all over the run-ways this season, all the brands are using it and all the major publications are endorsing it and the fancy stylists are craving it...the must have color flavour that's hot now! Glam it up with gold accessories or dstress it with chunky boots and denims, layer it with khaki's or go all military, wear it how you want to but i say atleast try it- consider it an insider tip.

I love this shoot in the spanish sposabella....its got a very fresh and young approach to bridal wear. If its a quick wedding in vegas or a boho goan style wedding you want, this look is definately what you need. Its pure, coquettish and still very sexy! Just like a new bride...

LOUIS VUITTON FALL IN LOVE THIS AUTUMN!

After spending 2 and half wonderful weeks in europe, i just realised that this is why i absolutely love it. The new Louis Vuitton fall campaign 2010 photographed by Steven Meisel is just plain divine. I love the way Natalia, Karen and Christy have pulled off the old hollywood style, each beautiful and exotic in their own way. The three decades of top models that range from their 20s to their 40s prove that you can be beauty and success can come at any age. It symbolizes all the things Louis Vuitton stands for, classic beauty, french elegance, luxury and world-class style.

NOAH MILLS

After sex and the city 2, im sure everyone knows who the gorgeous model from Blatimore, Maryland is. My fascination however with him dates to a long time before this. I clearly remember seeing him on the Dolce &Gabbana ss 07 campaigns and thinking, this model is absolutely stunning! Imagine my pleasure when i started working for Vanity Fair italia and went for my first men's shows and saw him strutting down the ramp, it was love at first sight! Its not like i haven't seen more beautifuls models, infact in my field of work i see beautiful people all the time.

However he had this tangible sort of beauty to him where he can be stunning like-classic chiseled bone structure- greek god like to boy-next-door, rougishly handsome but someone you can see and think oh he's cute! Im so happy that he's starring in the SATC2!

This is a tribute to him.....for inspiring a gazillion photoshoots, making me believe that men are beautiful and just making me smile everytime i see on the ramp! I feel like im 16 again!!

And for making me look forward to the upcoming Milan Mens fashion week SS2011...

color POP

Its summer- so bring out all those eye poping colors....be inspired by cherry reds, electric blues, canary yellows , colors that you love at a distance but would never dare to wear....because all our favourite designers have done so and heres a look at how you can mix and match them... either with one solid tone or if your daring; mixing it with patterns and other complimenting colors...makeup, hair extensions, bags, shoes or skirts....spruce up your style and wardrobe with the brightest and juciest colors...go popsicles!
